Can you deliver cakes?
Yes of course, delivery is free to customers in Cowfold.
Then,
up to 5 miles £5.00
up to 10 miles £10.00
up to 15 miles £15.00
up to 20 miles £20.00
Any cakes that need setting up, wedding cakes for example, I do not charge for my time, just the above delivery costs.
How long will the cakes last?
All cakes are best eaten the day they are delivered/collected but they will keep for up to 3 days if kept somewhere cool in an airtight container. Please do not put cakes in the fridge as this can ‘melt’ icing and decorations. Chocolate cakes can last up to a week, but if they haven’t all ready been gobbled up, they are superb heated up a little in the microwave and served with ice cream!
Do any of your cakes contain nuts?
Yes, my maderia cake reciepe contains ground almonds, also I use marzipan on most of my celebration cakes. Please inform me of any allergies so I can adjust recipes accordingly.
How much notice do you need for a wedding cake?
For any service I do need as much notice as possible to secure the date, as some months do get particularly busy.
Other Useful Information:
Deposits and Payments
All services require a deposit, usually 25% of the total amount. The final payment must be made 2 weeks prior to delivery/collection date.
Payments can be made by Cheque, BACS Transfer or Cash.
Cancellations
Should you have to cancel your order 6 weeks or more prior to the completion date, the deposit taken initially will be charged plus any work undertaken. If the order is cancelled within 6 weeks of completion then the full amount will be charged.
Alterations
I am always happy to work with you to achieve your perfect cake, but any changes required after our design has been finalised on the booking form, need to be made in writing and there could be additional costs.
